What Is a High Deductible G+ Plan?

A High Deductible G+ plan is a type of Medicare Supplement, also called Medigap, plan. It helps pay some of the costs that Original Medicare does not cover, but you must first meet the plan’s annual deductible before the plan begins paying its share.

Lower Monthly Premiums

High deductible Medicare Supplement plans are often designed for people who want a lower monthly premium compared with many standard Medicare Supplement plans.

No Network Restrictions

Because this is a Medicare Supplement Plan, you can see any doctor or hospital in the United States that accepts Original Medicare.

Change at Any Time

Because New York is a guaranteed issue state, members can change Supplement plans at any time throughout the calendar year. The policy will take effect the first of the following month.

Who May Want to Learn More?

This seminar may be helpful if you currently have a Medicare Supplement plan and are looking for ways to lower your monthly premium, while still keeping the flexibility of Original Medicare.

People with High Monthly Premiums

If your current Medicare Supplement premium has increased, a high deductible option may be worth reviewing.
